My wife and I have lived in Seattle since 1996 and love the Pacific Northwest. I grew up in Alberta, Canada and learned to ski, skate and shovel show at an early age. I love winter but I don't miss the -40 degrees! My family and I enjoy skiing, canoeing, camping, hiking and most outdoor recreation. Some of my past work experiences include teaching cross-country skiing and canoeing; personal training and guiding multi-day whitewater raft trips in Idaho.
I have also held a variety of positions in the construction, restaurant and institutional food service industries. I graduated from the University of Alberta (BS) in 1994 and Seattle Pacific University (MS) in 2001.
My family and agency are active in the community with local non-profits, the March of Dimes, and the habitat restoration program in Seattle's Discovery Park
